Instrument of Liberty treats the Second Amendment—the right to keep and bear arms—as both a constitutional guarantee and a serious responsibility. Exercising that right demands lawful ownership, disciplined training, and a strong moral foundation.

Owning a firearm does not make someone a skilled shooter. Skill is earned through instruction, repetition, and accountability. Our instructors bring more than two decades of experience across law enforcement, S.W.A.T., specialized security operations, competitive shooting, and self‑defense training. They know what proficiency looks like, and they know how to build it.

A solid foundation is non‑negotiable. Preparation, knowledge, and safety work together. Mastering firearm safety and proper shooting techniques is essential for anyone who intends to handle a firearm with confidence and competence.

“The Wild Boar and the Fox” — Aesop’s Fable

A wild boar sharpened his tusks against a tree. A fox, seeing no danger nearby, questioned why he bothered. “True,” the boar replied, “there is no threat now. But when danger comes, I will have no time to prepare.”

“It is too late to whet the sword when the trumpet sounds to draw it.”
